Altair Engineering a global leader recognised for innovative product development advanced engineering software and grid computing technology announced its launch of Design Optimisation – Centre of Excellence (DO-COE) in collaboration with Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) to jointly promote design simulation technology. The collaboration emphasises setting up Centre of Excellence for Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) based Design Optimisation and sponsorship of Altair’s HyperWorks Software (suite of products) for UniKL.

Altair Launches its Multiphysics Seminar 2007

Hello,

Altair Hyperworks, launched its first Altair, Multiphysics User Seminar at Bangalore on 19 June 2007.

The topics of intereste were,

1) Altair Optistruct - cost effective solver and an alternative to Nastran

2) Multibody Dynamics using Altair Hyper Works suite,

3) Radioss - an unit aquired by Altair early this year.

The seminar concluded with Lunch and Altair provided T - Shirt's to all attendes.

I loved the seminar and had a good interaction with many people.

However, I came to know more about their licensing issues.
